Connect ChatGPT

ChatGPT connects to custom servers through Developer mode, available on paid plans (Plus, Pro, Business). Menu names change from time to time; look for Apps or Connectors.

Add the app

1. Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings → turn on Developer mode.
2. Back in Apps & Connectors, click Create (or Add app).
3. Name: Unibrain. MCP server URL: https://unibrain.dev/mcp. Authentication: OAuth.
4. Create it, then sign in with GitHub when asked.
5. In a chat, pick Unibrain from the tools or Developer mode menu.

Use it

Find everything in Unibrain about our Italy trip and give me a day-by-day summary.

Add a note to Projects/garden with what we just worked out about raised beds.

ChatGPT asks you to confirm each write before it happens, which is a nice extra check.

Deep research

ChatGPT's deep research can search your vault and cite your own notes alongside the web: ask for a report that draws on "my Unibrain notes and recent sources".
